Apricot kernel, avocado, palm, and sweet almond oils create a mild but completely clean feel. These oils are moisturizing, nourishing, therapeutic, and revitalizing.
Castor and olive oils draw moisture to the skin and help to retain that moisture. Jojoba oil holds in natural moisture while drawing external moisture to the skin. These oils also produce a firm bar of soap.
The kukui nut oil and shea butter are easily absorbed by the skin and provide soothing and healing for dry and chapped skin.
The coconut oil ensures that every bar of Katie’s Home Made Soap is firm and has a quick fluffy lather.

Katie’s Story
Katie’s Home Made Soap was inspired by the simple, clean living that Katie showed to her children as they were growing up.
Katie was born in 1925 and grew up in Palmyra, Ohio during the Great Depression and World War II. After marrying Louis in 1948 and settling in Newton Falls, Ohio, Katie lived a simple life raising four children. Katie’s endless unconditional love serves as the inspiration behind this simple bar of soap.
Ron, Katie’s son, continues the tradition of simplicity by lovingly crafting each batch of soap by hand, guaranteeing each batch receives Ron’s personal attention, care, and commitment.
As Ron has developed Katie’s Home Made Soap, he has continued to work with quality in mind. All of the ingredients that he uses have been selected for their beneficial properties. Ron’s commitment is to quality and to providing a simple but effective product that he is proud to share.
